Hey everyone…and welcome to my new blog!
It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this for twenty-five years. There have been a lot of peaks and valleys but I guess the road does go on forever and the party really never does end. Anyway, I wanted to share some of the great things happening at Rockin’ Baja...and I’m especially excited to fill you in on our 25th Birthday Celebration! That’s right...Rockin’ Baja is 25 years old this year!
I remember back in 1983 when my father Joe, my wife Susan and I were so inspired by the small fishing village of Puerto Nuevo, Baja that we decided to create our own Puerto Nuevo-themed restaurant in our hometown of Bonita, California called Rockin’ Baja Lobster. The restaurant took off…and we’ve been throwing Rockin’ Baja beach parties ever since! There are now five locations throughout SoCal, but stayed tuned, there are still more to come!
Next month we take the beach and Rockin’ Baja to the desert as we open Rockin’ Baja Coastal Cantina in (Palm Springs area) La Quinta, CA. I’ll get the exact dates to you in a week or two.
But for right now and as a way to say thanks for Rockin’ with us all these years, we’re offering the Big Baja (25th Anniversary edition) Bucket FOR TWO for only $29.99 throughout all of 2009! It’s that crazy taste of Baja that everybody loves. The bucket comes full of marinated carne asada, grilled chicken, Baja seasoned shrimp and our famous slipper lobster tails – of course just as in Puerto Nuevo there’s “All You Can Eat” beans, rice, flour tortillas, honey chili butter and our fresh salsa and chips bar, so come hungry!
Stop on by, grab an icy cold drink and order up a Big Baja (25th Anniversary edition) Bucket. Check it out, I’m sure you’ll love it!
Remember to Eat, Drink & Be Baja
Check in again soon.
